IFAW "Tiger in the Wild" PSA

Year of the Tiger 2010:

"Tigers are in trouble. Serious trouble. As few as 3,000 tigers survive in the wild anywhere on earth, and we, humans, are to blame. Wild tigers are losing their forest homes to logging and human settlements; they are losing their lives to poachers; and they are losing out to businessmen who profit from trade in tiger pelts and other body parts."

30 second and 45 second PSA for IFAW's presentation at the International Tiger Conservation Forum in Moscow.
IFAW launches "Raise Your Voice - PSA" as part of Roar campaign. Gerber Rigler were fortunate to be invited to produce the spot. The haunting music was generously provided by Moby Gratis.

Leonardo DiCaprio just pledged 1 Million Dollars for tigers in the wild. Please consider getting involved.

2010 is the Year of the Tiger according to the Chinese lunar calendar and it’s time to take a stand. IFAW is working intensely to ensure a better future for wild tigers. We’re training rangers on the front lines of tiger protection, securing the small pockets of remaining wild tiger habitat, and working to close down trade in tiger bones, skins and parts.

We’re making progress, but we can’t save wild tigers alone. We need you, and we need to act now. I hope this Animal Action education programme will inspire you and your students to join us in taking action to protect tigers - and all animals in crisis worldwide."
